Kumquat Basil Gin & Tonic
Equipment
- 1 cocktail shaker
- 1 muddler option to use the back of a wooden spoon
Ingredients
- 8 Kumquats cut in half
- 5 Basil leaves
- ¼ Lime
- 2 oz Gin
- 1 8 oz can Tonic Water
Instructions
- Add kumquats, lime, and basil leaves to a cocktail shaker. Muddle thoroughly then add gin. Muddle again to help the flavors meld. Add ice and shake.
- Divide cocktail between 2 glasses. Top with tonic water until the glass is full
- garnish with additional kumquat slices and basil leaves
