This bowl is packed with protein and healthy fats to keep you full and energized all morning. It is also loaded with anti-inflammatory properties from the turmeric! The best part, you can double up on the golden milk to whip yourself up a latte to enjoy with your breakfast!
Golden Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

½ Cup Quinoa
1 Cup Coconut Milk
1 Tsp Ground Turmeric
¼ Tsp Ground Ginger
¼ Tsp Ground Cinnamon
½ Tsp Honey or Maple Syrup (Optional)
Pinch of Freshly Ground Black Pepper
2 Tbs Coconut Flakes, Toasted
Directions
- Make the golden milk latte and combine coconut milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper into a bowl. Whisk to combine. I like to do this with my Nespresso milk frother.
- Add the quinoa into a small sauce pan and add the golden milk latte. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat to medium and let simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid is fully dissolved.
- While the quinoa is simmering, you can taste it and add honey or maple syrup accordingly. You can also take the time now to toast your coconut flakes until golden.
- Once the quinoa is finished cooking, serve and garnish with your toasted coconut flakes, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
