Miso Shishito Peppers offer a tasty spin on a classic appetizer. These shishito peppers are smokey from the charred cooking method, salty from the miso paste, and has just a hint of sweet and citrus notes from the lemon and honey. Charred Shishito Peppers

The char brings out the peppers’ natural sweetness, adding depth to each bite. It’s a simple and satisfying preparation that highlights the unique combination of smokiness and subtle spice, making charred shishito peppers an irresistible and easy-to-enjoy snack.

    Pro Cleaning Tip

Make sure you mix the miso sauce and shishito peppers in the plastic mixing bowl, not the hot skillet! The heat will cause the miso paste to caramelize and stick to the pan, making it nearly impossible to clean afterwards. But making it this way, you will be able to quickly wipe away the excess sauce from the bowl and stick it in the dishwasher. And because you are charring the shishito paper in a dry skillet, there is virtually no mess to clean. All you will have to do is wipe any debris off the skillet. No scrubbing required!
