    Extra Boozy Limoncello Spritz

    Sharing is caring!

When the sun is high, and the temperatures are soaring, there’s nothing quite like a refreshing Limoncello Spritz. This delightfully boozy cocktail combines the zesty notes of limoncello with the crispness of Pinot Grigio and the bubbles of Prosecco to create a refreshing symphony of flavors that will leave you buzzed. Whether you’re hosting a summer soirée or simply looking for a pick-me-up on a lazy afternoon, this Boozy Limoncello Spritz is your ticket to a taste of the Mediterranean.

    Limoncello Spritz Ingredients

Limoncello, Pinot Grigio, Prosecco, and extra lemon juice. Four simple ingredients to create a Limoncello Spritz that’s both citrusy and sophisticated. The star of the show, limoncello, offers a burst of lemon that’s sweet, tangy, and incredibly aromatic. Its citrusy zest is perfectly complemented by the dry and crisp notes of Pinot Grigio, making the Limoncello Spritz a balanced cocktail. And let’s not forget the Prosecco, which adds a bubbly twist, elevating the drink to a whole new level of refreshment.

    How to serve limoncello spritz

For the ultimate Limoncello Spritz experience, choose your glassware wisely. This cocktail is traditionally served in a tall, elegant wine glass, allowing you to appreciate its vibrant color. The long stem of the glass helps keep the drink chilled, while the wide bowl allows for the perfect balance of liquid and ice. The Limoncello Spritz is as visually appealing as it is delicious, and the wine glass showcases it beautifully.

Make it fun, add a garnish

Elevate your cocktail with limoncello and Prosecco with creative garnishes. Try a twist of lemon peel or a wedge or round of lemon for a citrusy aroma. Fresh mint leaves or a sprig of thyme for a burst of herbaceousness. A slice of ripe strawberry could be nice as well! Alternatively, you can experiment with colorful edible flowers such as marigolds for added visual appeal.
